At night, a moving pedestrian becomes visible in the light of car headlights only at a distance of 30 meters, the driver has only 1.3 seconds to react. A pedestrian with a reflector is already visible at a distance of 300 meters, and the driver has as much as 7 seconds to go around him and avoid an accident. Experts believe that in the dark, the risk for a pedestrian to become a victim of an accident or provoke an accident increases twice, moreover, for a pedestrian without a reflector, it is almost ten times higher than for someone who uses this useful invention.  The first pedestrian retroreflector was created in the 1960s in Finland. A high-quality retroreflector must have a sufficient reflective surface: according to 13356, the minimum value of retroreflection is 400 light intensity). The lower limit of the reflectors has a coefficient twice as high as 800. All models have a European certificate of conformity. It is recommended to mount the retroreflector on the right side of the clothing so that it is at hip level - in this position it is best visible in the headlights. The reflector will save your life and take care of road safety! Attention! The mount is not included in the kit!  To maintain good reflectivity, it is recommended to seal no more than 1/3 of the surface of the reflector.
