The rangefinder binocular allows for visual observations at 8x magnification, as well as measuring three parameters on the ground: visible distance, target elevation angle, and horizontal distance. The range of the built-in rangefinder measurements is 2500 meters. The optics of the device are based on glass. The brightness of the binocular is sufficient to provide a clear and contrasted image not only in bright sunlight, but also in low light conditions: on cloudy days and at dusk. Additionally, the multi-layer coating of the optical elements adds brightness to the image. The rangefinder can perform measurements in one of two available modes: single measurement and scanning mode. Since the device determines both distances and angles, it is very convenient for conducting calculations for targets located above or below the observer. There is also a target priority function: measurements can be taken on the closest or farthest object. The binocular is easily adaptable for any user. The focus adjustment is done separately for each eyepiece, and the eyepiece diopters have a rotating-extending design. The interpupillary distance is adjustable.
