Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, the "third" capital of the Russian Federation, one of the largest religious, economic, educational, cultural, and sports centers of Russia. Kazan is a city with a rich, centuries-old history, the diversity of its cultural heritage attracts tourists from all over the world! The capital of Tatarstan is traditionally called "multicultural", where a mosque and an Orthodox church coexist side by side, reflecting a blend of religion, mentality, and history of the East and the West.
At the center of the composition lies the magnificent ensemble of the legendary Kazan Kremlin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which includes the Kul Sharif Mosque, the Annunciation Cathedral, and the Suyumbike Tower.
The panorama is enclosed in a golden frame with a Tatar national pattern, at the corners of which we see the images of the beloved queen of the Kazan Tatars - Suyumbike and the collective image of the Kazan Khan - a symbol of courage, valor, and bravery.
An important place in the overall design of the scarf is occupied by the Crowned Dragon Zilant - the official symbol depicted on the coat of arms of the city of Kazan.
The winged snow leopard - the God of fertility and protector of children, whose image is present on the state coat of arms of the Republic of Tatarstan, fits perfectly into the overall composition. On the scarf, the snow leopard is depicted as a golden sculpture, like Zilant, giving the scarf a fairytale, magical, and regal feel.
The design was created by artists Nina Ruchkina and Alexandra Grineva.
