G10 is a strong and impact-resistant material, it handles moisture well and has increased fire resistance. The knife handle is assembled on bushings, so it can be easily rinsed if necessary. There is a removable clip on the handle for convenient pocket carry. The clip can be installed for left or right-hand use. The knife opens with a flipper, which can also act as a guard to prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade. There is a notched finger choil on the top of the blade for more comfortable work. The blade is made from stainless steel 8CR14MoV. The main advantage of this steel is excellent corrosion resistance due to its high chromium content (14.5%). 8CR14MoV steel is a high-carbon steel (0.8%), and the carbon gives the alloy hardness in the range of 57-59 HRC, allowing the cutting edge to remain sharp for a long time. The optimal content of alloying elements gives the steel flexibility, and the blade is easy to sharpen and hone.
