In ancient Russian art, the image of a bird is quite common. The bird symbolizes holiness, paradise, immortality, the spiritual sphere, the element of air, lightness, and flight.
In the world-famous white-stone carving of the Suzdal and Vladimir cathedrals, reliefs with images of birds are often found. Among them are both fairy-tale images and quite realistic ones, such as an eagle, dove, peacock, pheasant, geese... Often the necks, wings, and tails of bird pairs are intertwined, which probably symbolizes unity.
We hope that this wonderful scarf will remind you of the creativity of our talented ancestors, the reliefs of the white-stone architecture of Northeastern Russia, and help your soul soar like the birds depicted on it.
The design of the scarf was created by the brand "Russian in Fashion" by Nina Ruchkina in collaboration with the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve. The sketch was done by designer Nina Ruchkina and artist Polina Zykov. We hope that the result of this creative collaboration will delight you with its originality, expressiveness, and beauty, and become a real highlight in creating your image.
